 The course is assessed and Certified by Cambridge ESOL and taught at CELT, an Authorised Cambridge Teaching Awards Centre. Assessment is via 6 hours of Teaching Practice with adult learners (provided by CELT) and 4 written assignments. For more, please visit the course page

Certificate Course in TEFL


(Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language)

Assessed via 6 Teaching Practices (with adult learners at CELT or younger learners in language schools in Athens), and a Coursebook Evaluation & Adaptation Project presented post-course. Certification is awarded by CELT Athens. For more information, please visit the course page.

Assessment is in three separate Modules - Module 1 is assessed via written examination sent to Cambridge ESOL for marking; Module 2 is assesed via internal coursework (5 written assignments and Teaching Practices) and an externally assessed lesson by a Cambridge ESOL appointed assessor; Module 3 is assessed via an extended project in a specialism selected by the candidate, sent to and marked by Cambridge ESOL.   CELT Athens is an Authorised Cambridge Teaching Awards Centre.
