Course Objectives:
The purpose of this 30-hour programme is to provide educational management skills training for acting or prospective managers of foreign language institutions, senior teachers who are, or will soon be, in positions of responsibility. The course will focus on managing yourself, managing people, managing systems & resources, managing educational & organizational issues.

Course participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance. The course is intended both for currently acting Directors of Studies and candidates for such positions in local or international institutions.

	Dealing with Parents

	Organising a Resource Centre

Application procedure:
Participants should have an Introductory Methods Course in TEFL Certificate (or equivalent Certificate level course) and at least 5 years' teaching experience. They should have experience of having been observed themselves by course tutors, mentors or employers. Preference will be given to applicants with a Diploma and/or 2 years' experience in a senior position.

There will be a maximum of 10 places on the course.

Note:   Applicants without a training background (at least 100 hours of methodology) and experience of having been observed while teaching are advised to apply to do such a course first.
