These four short courses are modules of our Certificate in TEFL Course and can be taken individually or you can attend them all in order to obtain the Certificate in TEFL.

The Certificate in TEFL is perhaps one of the best known courses in Greece and to date it has been attended by more than 2000 teachers preparing them thoroughly for successful classroom teaching. To obtain the Certificate in TEFL, trainees have to attend all the modules above, plus an extra module on Testing and Evaluation, Teaching Adults, Teaching Young Learners and to submit a Coursebook based Project after the course has been completed.

Class Management

 At the end of this course, participants will be asked to teach a 50-60 minute Grammar lesson either to one of the classes at CELT or to their own class at their institution. A lesson plan should be submitted at the time of the teaching practice and resubmitted with corrections and improvements AFTER teaching the class and receiving feedback from the Course Tutor.  

A Certificate of Attendance will be given to those who have attended this module fully and have participated in the Teaching Practice.

A Certificate of Attendance will be given to those who have attended this module fully and have participated in the Teaching Practice.

The lesson should also have a clear language focus (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, syntax, cohesive devices). A lesson plan should be submitted at the time of the teaching practice and resubmitted with corrections and improvements AFTER teaching the class and receiving feedback from the Course Tutor.

 

A Certificate of Attendance will be given to those who have attended this module fully and have participated in the Teaching Practice.

A lesson plan should be submitted at the time of the teaching practice and resubmitted with corrections and improvements AFTER teaching the class and receiving feedback from the Course Tutor.

 

A Certificate of Attendance will be given to those who have attended this module fully and have participated in the Teaching Practice.

 

Course Length:               22 hours (Seminar Input, Teaching Practice & Feedback)

Tuition:                         350 Euros

Dates:                           May 19, 21, 26, 28 (weekdays) or May 24, 25, 31 & June 1 (weekends)

Discounts Offered

A 10% discount is offered to course participants who:

  • pay for their full tuition AT LEAST three months prior to the course start
  • groups of teachers from the same institution or franchise on the same course


Upon paying their tuition fees, all candidates are automatically given a free Library membership for one year and free use of our Teachers’ Self Access Centre.
