Vocabulary in Pictures

The idea is not new. I have seen it used by teachers and I have seen it in published materials for the classroom. But these are good examples on how abstract words could be made more memorable to students by getting them (individually or in groups) to come up with an image. The three examples below were created by members of a site which deals in words, and you can show them as examples to your students.
